LightsNOW is a financial research and equity analysis platform. LightsNOW is currently operated as a pre-incorporation project and has not yet been incorporated as a separate legal entity.
For purposes of this Privacy Policy, “LightsNOW,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the LightsNOW pre-incorporation project.
This Privacy Policy explains how LightsNOW collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you access or use the LightsNOW website, platform, reports, workflows, or related services.
This Privacy Policy should be read together with the LightsNOW Terms of Use and Disclaimer. The Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Service. The Disclaimer explains important limitations regarding financial information, research outputs, investment advice, warranties, and user responsibility.

The LightsNOW website and platform are intended only for users who have been expressly authorized in writing by the website administrator.

LightsNOW may collect the following categories of information:

LightsNOW uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the website, maintain sessions, improve performance, remember user preferences, and improve the user experience.
LightsNOW does not currently use third-party advertising cookies.
3. How We Use Information
LightsNOW uses information to:

LightsNOW provides financial data analysis and research workflow support for informational and/or research purposes only.
LightsNOW does not provide investment advice, legal advice, tax advice, portfolio management, suitability analysis, trade execution, or personalized recommendations to buy, sell, or hold any security.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
Where applicable privacy or data protection law requires a legal basis for processing personal information, LightsNOW may process information based on one or more of the following grounds:

5. Analytics
LightsNOW currently uses internal analytics within the application to understand usage, improve performance, maintain research workflows, and improve the user experience.
LightsNOW does not currently use external third-party analytics tools such as Google Analytics, unless this Privacy Policy is updated to state otherwise.
6. Authentication
LightsNOW currently manages user authentication through its own application database.
Users are responsible for keeping their login details secure and must not share their account credentials with unauthorized persons.
7. Hosting and Infrastructure
LightsNOW is hosted using cloud infrastructure providers, including Amazon Web Services.
These providers may process limited technical, hosting, storage, security, and operational information as needed to run, maintain, and protect the Service.
8. Payments
LightsNOW is currently provided free of charge and does not currently process payments through the platform.
If paid plans, billing, subscriptions, or payment processing are introduced in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated.
9. Information Users Should Not Submit
Users must not submit information they are not authorized to use or disclose.
Do not submit:
• passwords, API keys, private credentials, or secrets;
• material non-public information;
• confidential third-party information unless you are authorized to use it;
• regulated personal information that is not required for use of the Service;
• client data, customer data, or institutional data unless your organization has approved that use.
Users are responsible for ensuring that any information they upload, enter, or process through LightsNOW is lawful and authorized.

LightsNOW does not sell personal information.

However, no online service, system, database, or transmission method is fully secure. LightsNOW does not guarantee uninterrupted access, system availability, complete security, or error-free operation.
